Tuning up my Rolla

Yesterday, I visited my Rolla and I was surprised to see her without her wheels.  Luckily, her break pads were still thick.  It's been a week since I last saw her and all that I can say is that she deserves this treatment this is the first time that she had undergone mechanical treatment.

Ninong Larry showed me the things that he already replaced and would be replacing.  We were fortunate that nothing happened to us while we were still using Rolla.  Her clutch disc, release bearing were sliding already there were washers inside it.  The CV Joints, Ball Joints, tie rods has been replaced as well.  In the next coming days Ninong will open the engine to fix the oil leaks, replace the gaskets, oil seals, fuel filter, o-rings and most especially the Timing belts and tensioners.

Remembering Daddy Ben

This coming May 30, 2010 our family would like to ask everyone to pray for the soul of our Dad.

Fixing My Rolla

We won't be having our regular Rolla Adventures for the next week or so.  The reason behind this is that my Rolla is scheduled to have her tuned-up.  This would be her first tune-up since we got her last February.  Days before this, she was acting very weird, her idle started to drop, oils coming out from the engine, squeaking sound can be heard from the breaks and probably from the tires and whenever you step on the clutch you can hear the pressure plate.

I brought her to our Ninon Larry from Tanza to have her checked and fix.  We're hoping that after this it would be a good ride, for our next destination would be Mall of Asia and Manila Ocean Park.

Round Trip Ride to Silang

Last Friday after getting off from work I fetched my mom and went straight to Silang Cavite where my Sister-in-law and nieces went for a two-week vacation.  My Rolla was scheduled to be tuned-up the next day so I went ahead and tested it, it was having idling problems, break issues and oil leak.

Luckily after 1.5 hours we were there in Silang and haven't had any sleep, we packed their things up and went back to Rosario.  Fortunately my Rolla was still A-okay.
